I came across this texture recently and it has become one of my go-to patterns. I call it “woven” as it reminds me of a fabric I saw as a child. Looking back, that fabric made such an impression on me. It was colored with rich jewel toned pinks and reds with these larger deep purple strands weaving their way through it. It was so rich in texture and color and it really stands out in my memory. I don’t think it’s any coincidence that texture and color are two of the most important elements of design to me.
These silver buttons are 1/2″ in size – if you need larger, you can request it here. They are sold in groups of five. You can select if you’d like them with or without a patina as well as choosing the proper hole size. They come to you fully finished on the front as well as on the back – something that you as well as your customers will appreciate. They are all made using .935 argentium sterling silver. These buttons work great with wrapped bracelets but are only limited by your imagination. A 1.9mm hole works best when using 1.5mm leather cord. But when using larger cord, I drill 3.0mm holes.
I carefully handcraft these buttons to give you a more modern, timeless choice that not just you will appreciate but your customers will love. If you choose to have a patina, I finish them off with a fine English museum wax that will protect and keep the rich patina for years to come. Because each button is handmade, there may be variations in what you see photographed – but the differences will be minimal.
