These are hand hammered 1/2″ sterling buttons. All my buttons are sold in groups of five. There are numerous steps involved in making these buttons so they come to you fully finished on front and back – something your customers will appreciate. This particular style button is one of my most popular styles. I use a highly polished ball peen hammer to create the pattern of this texture. I offer them oxidized or with a shiny polish. They are all made using argentium sterling silver. These are very popular and are used frequently with wrapped bracelets. Most buttons are made with a 1.9mm hole which works great with 1.5mm leather cord. For larger cords, I drill 3.0mm holes. Please select the hole size when checking out. The first photo is what a 1.9mm hole looks like and the 2nd photo shows a 3.0mm hole.
I take great care in creating these quality buttons. They are carefully handcrafted to give you a luxe piece that your customers will love. I finish the oxidized buttons with a fine English museum wax that will keep the patina for years to come. Because each button is handmade, there may be variations in what you see photographed – but the differences will be minimal.

I enjoyed working with Andrea from Canada – a knitter extraordinaire. She commissioned all of the 7/8″ silver buttons pictured above for one of her projects (below).
