Description
This is a one of a kind enameled ring. It was created with argentium silver and copper. It features one of my favorite color combinations I’ve used with a crackling technique. The enamel was sifted on a domed copper disc. It’s made with orange, red and green vitreous enamel (fine pigmented powdered glass) which was sifted and fired in a kiln at 1500° Farenheit. I repeated this process multiple times as there are two layers on the back and four on the front.
The band was hand formed, roller printed with an organic lacy texture. It was soldered, filed and sanded. Once complete it was then oxidized with a German patina. The ring was left open to allow for fingers swelling in the summer and shrinking in the winter. The ring is a size 7 – this ring cannot be sized up but can be sized down if needed. Whatever your size, I suggest going up 1/2 size due to the width of the band.
Each ring is carefully handcrafted by me in my home studio, near Boston, Ma. to give you a quality piece of jewelry that will enable you to enjoy for many years to come.
For jewelry care, I include a jewelry care card with every order. Please note that enamel is glass and should be handled carefully.
