Welcome to Naftali - my new online gallery. I'm Janice Abarbanel, a Massachusetts based bead and jewelry artist working from my home studio.
Here, you'll find a wonderful range of unique, polymer clay focal beads that are ready to be incorporated into your latest designs and transformed into wearable art. My beads are now available wholesale to bead designers and bead shops.
Much of my inspiration comes from nature and sometimes nature at a magnified level. From cracks in the road, to bark patterns on trees I'm always observing patterns, textures and color. You'll see my signature crackling technique carried throughout many of my designs. You'll also see some influences of one of my favorite art classes I took at RISD where I was trained to observe the world around me as shapes. Most of my silk screen designs are a product of that. |
